Welcome back to the Friday Favourites part of Angie Karcher’s Rhyming Picture Book Month – RhyPiBoMo for short.
After having a lovely Christmas holiday full of good food and wine, I just thought I would wish you all a Happy New Year. It’s not long to go until we wave goodbye to 2012 with the usual mixture of relief and regret.
For me, although 2012 has been a difficult year, I have learnt a lot about myself from the challenges it presented. I am hoping that next year will be better. I don’t usually make New Year resolutions, but this time I have.
My resolution is to focus on what’s important in my life:
family and friends
And not to worry about the rest. Let’s see if I can keep to that.
Anyway Happy New Year everyone.
This is my entry for Lisa McCourt Hollar’s 55 Word Challenge Week 39. Check out all the stories here.

The world ended. Swept clean. Ashes to ashes…
